1. How the application works

The Infrared Planner is a browser-based, installable Progressive Web App (PWA). The room data and calculation parameters you enter are processed in your browser and are not transmitted by the calculator to ThermoSolutions or any other server. No user account is created.

The Save project feature creates a project file at your express request, which your browser saves on your own device. When you later load a file, the selected file is processed exclusively in your browser.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM, Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested file, access status, data volume transferred, referrer, browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain technical stability and detect attacks or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. ALL-INKL processes hosting data under the contractual arrangements and, where applicable, as a data processor.

Server logs are retained only for as long as required under the relevant hosting configuration for operation, troubleshooting and security. Longer retention may be necessary in the event of specific security incidents or legal obligations. ThermoSolutions does not use server logs to create personal usage profiles.

3. No analytics or tracking services

This version of the Infrared Planner uses no analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media plugins, externally loaded fonts or content delivery networks. The application loads its required program files, product data, visual assets and logo from the same domain.

4. Cookies, app installation and offline storage

The Infrared Planner sets no cookies and does not use local storage to recognise visitors, analyse usage or advertise. A project draft is automatically saved in Session Storage for the current tab. It contains the project name, room data, settings, heater selection, lighting accessories and a randomly generated project ID. The ID is used only to identify your own project files and printouts. It is not sent to a server. The session draft supports reloading and language switching. It is usually removed when the tab closes; your browser's session restore feature may retain it longer.

If you enable Continue on this device, the same draft is additionally saved in Local Storage. This optional storage is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling the option, with effect for the future; the persistent draft is then removed. Delete saved draft removes both drafts. Further changes are saved again for the current tab. The persistent draft is valid for seven days after the most recent use. Expired drafts are deleted when you next open the app. You can also delete browser data in your device settings. Uninstalling the app does not automatically remove this data in every browser.

The technical storage required for session restoration, language switching and offline use serves the app functionality you expressly request (Section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG). Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a functioning application that protects against loss of input. A project file is downloaded only at your request. All drafts remain in your browser.

To allow installation as a Progressive Web App and opening without an internet connection after a successful initial load, your browser may use a service worker and Cache Storage. Only static application files are stored there, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the logo, app icons, public product data and legal notices. This offline feature does not store the room and project data you enter in Cache Storage.

The offline cache contains no project drafts. You can remove it through the website or browser data settings on your device. Uninstalling alone does not clear the cache in every browser. No analytics or marketing technologies are used.

5. Contact by email or telephone

When you use the personal advice button, the Infrared Planner only opens your email application with a prepared message. The message is sent only when you send it yourself in that application. When you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry.

If the enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information is deleted when its purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for further storage remain.

6. External links

The website contains links to www.thermosolutions.info. You leave infrarotplaner.de only when you follow such a link. The privacy notice of the destination website applies to processing there.

7. Encryption

The website is intended to be provided exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Encryption protects transmission between your browser and the web server. It cannot provide complete protection against every risk on the internet.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

9. Required information and automated decisions

Technically necessary connection data is provided automatically when you access a website. Without this data, the website cannot be delivered. You do not need to enter personal contact details to use the calculator. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR or profiling takes place.

10. Changes
